We plan to build and operate the Akpini Resort & River Cruises, using the profits to support several charitable purposes. To provide continued funding to our Volta Hope Children's Home which is a 501c3/NGO facility in Alavanyo, Ghana with the capacity for 240 orphans, deserted and trafficked children. We plan to fill that need with a Resort that includes River Cruising in the Kpando District of the Volta Region. We will offer Chalet Accommodations in an environment that is representative of the local Village Culture. Our offering also includes a Conference Center for business meetings or parties with the option for catering. Included in our Resort will be a full-service Restaurant/Bar that provides both local and International cuisine. Our leisure activities will include a pool, basketball court, miniature golf, paddleboats, a fitness center and pontoon river cruising. Products and/or Services Our products and/or services are superior to our competitors because we are located on the Volta Lake in a Region that is rich in culture and many opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the land and the friendly nature of the people. Our competitors are located close to the coast and the capital offering little opportunity to experience the real Ghana.
Human Resources - Our management team has unique experience in the industry including travel and tourism, intimate knowledge of the area and its people and a Guest First mentality.
Location Our location allows us to better serve Guests because we are removed from the city and are surrounded by natural beauty and resources to experience local crafts people at work.
Guests We can provide key services to our Guests that are not available through local competitors. These guests include volunteers to local orphanages, hospital volunteers, International Tourists and Business people.
Marketing We have unique marketing skill sets that enable us to attract new Guests at a low cost. These include: the use of our existing relationships and connections with Tourist attractions, Hospitals, Orphanages, Schools, as well as Village Chiefs and Elders. As home owners in the area, we also have many business and government connections that can support our marketing and procurement needs.
Successes achieved to date: We have already purchased a twelve acre, lakefront parcel, and completed and survey. The final survey documents, indenture and registration documents are in progress and we will be shovel ready shortly.
