It has three beveled mirrors of which the two outer mirrors fold in for an almost 3-D view of the person dressing. The beautiful marble top caps the very ample storage cabinet below. The ornate carving that covers this piece is something to behold. There's more. Just in case the rarity of the dresser is not enough, there is a matching bed that includes headboard, foot board, and side rails. This complete set demonstrates the exquisite workmanship of the period and is truly something to behold.
Very well preserved is the best way to describe this old icebox. It was the 1920's when this old jewel first went into service and because of it's present condition it still has many cooling days ahead. Original hardware, great enamel, and an air tight seal. Would work fantastic as a back-up or primary.
If you are looking for a wardrobe with storage and style then this is the one for you. Gorgeous is the only way to describe it. Claw feet, two drawers below, and double clothes racks behind the two mirrored doors combine to offer enough storage to replace or substitute for a closet. Mid 1800's marble top server in excellent condition. Picture does not show the very ornate carving adorning the top of the center mirror but there again the picture can not do justice to this wonderful piece of furniture. Well cared for and from a local estate; must see to believe.
This is truly a classy server. Tiger Stripe and Quarter Sawn oak were both utilized in the construction of this unique piece. The size design of the server is a little feminine while at the same time there is a boldness coming through due to the wonderful carvings.
This oak washstand comes from the same South Georgia Victorian Estate as the round burly leg table shown above. True turn of the century craftsmanship is visible in the contoured two drawers and double door cabinet front of this gorgeous old piece. The carved towel rack may have been married to the cabinet at some point in time but if so, it was a superb union in deed.
