S series has a horizontal tubular outlet (for use with hose) and is made for vertical mounting. Alternate Fuel Air CleanersAlternate Fuel Air Cleaners are a family of air cleaners designed for use on machinery that uses propane or compressed natural gas as a fuel source, commonly gaseous engine conversions used by alternate fuel mixers. Alternate Fuel Air Cleaners perform the same function as an air cleaner on a diesel engine but have a higher air flow and can mount directly to alternate fuel mixers. Vortox Air Technology Alternate Air Cleaners and Plenums can withstand backfires because they are constructed entirely of rugged Carbon Steel and are finished in a black baked polyester coating. Integrated Cap and Screen with Side OutletVortox Air Technology side outlet air cleaners are designed to provide a direct, horizontal connection to blowers mounted between truck frame rails. A side outlet near the bottom of the air cleaner maximizes ground clearance of the air cleaner and keeps alignment with the inlet of most blowers. Vortox Air Technology Truck Blower Air CleanersTruck Blower Air Cleaners are available in pressure or pressurevacuum models. Pressurevacuum models come with a 4 NPT aluminum camlock fitting installed. The camlock fitting can be accessed by unfastening the side rubber hooks to remove the cap and screen. All Truck Blower Air Cleaners are available in either polished T304 Stainless Steel or powder coated Electro Galvanized Carbon Steel. Two (2) mounting brackets in matching finish come standard with each air cleaner. Additionally, a washable internal foam precleaner, which reduces blower noise, comes standard with each Vortox Air Technology Truck Blower Air Cleaner. Filter removal is achieved in three easy steps: removing the band clamp, lifting the top off, and removing the filter element. Truck Blower Air Cleaners: Other OptioIf you are looking for a more economical approach to protect your blower, our AN140T and AN140W models with Inlet Cap are the answer. These air cleaners are designed as pressure only, single stage, high air flow design that will protect your blower and keep it running clean. If you need a pressurevacuum design in this configuration, we have an answer for that, too. Simply remove the Inlet Cap and use a Vortox Air Technology 21327 adapter that fits the 6 air cleaner OD inlet and has a 4NPT Camlock fitting to accept the hose from the trailer. Both AN140T and AN140W can be mounted using Vortox Air Technology BB140 Band Brackets. Together with our CL14060 or CS600 Inlet Cap, this combination can answer a variety of needs.
