This custom deep drawn stamped mild steel door lock component is used within the Hardware IndustryA client in the hardware industry based in Baltimore, Maryland recently contacted Waterbury Contract Eyelets & Stampings, Inc. requesting that we employ our deep drawn stamping technology to manufacture a series of door lock components. Constructed from mild steel material, we used our Waterbury Farrel ICOP transfer press to deep drawn stamp each component to meet customer supplied design specifications.

This cold rolled steel cover is used within a solenoid application. Employing our 150 ton straight side press, Waterbury Contract Eyelets & Stampings, Inc. was able to press stamp and fold the part complete in just one operation, using only one machine, while still upholding (+-) .0015 inch precision tolerance.
