Waterfords Above Ground Skid Tanks can be easily moved when empty by sliding them on the integral runners The skids stabilize the tank and maintain a fixed elevation when being moved. GUNBARREL TANKS

Waterfords Gunbarrel tanks are an economical and low maintenance method to treat oil when properly applied. These tanks are an excellent choice when adequate separation of oil, water, and gas is required and uses atmospheric pressure, gravitational force and retention time. Production enters the inlet flume section at the top of the tank. Solution gas is vented from the top of the flume or equalized to storage. Waterford Tanks Gunbarrel tanks come with flume pipe assembly, spreader table, waterleg outlet with tie down brackets, API 5L threaded couplings (4 standard) and bolt-on gas chamber (flume pipe cap). We can provide our standard design Gunbarrel tank or we can customize our standard design to match your exact requirements.

SEPARATORSWaterford Tank and Fabrication vertical separators are pressure vessels designed for separating well streams into gaseous and liquid components. The well stream enters the separator and encounters a deflector plate beginning the first phase of separation. The liquid component of the well stream settles to the bottom of the pressure vessel. The liquid level is controlled by means of a dump valve that sends the liquids to an atmospheric tank or a gun-barrel for additional gravity separation. The gaseous component passes through a mist extractor in the top of the pressure vessel removing the remaining small liquid particles before existing the top of the pressure vessel and then to metering for sales.

Knockout Drums

Knockout Drums are used to efficiently remove liquid droplets or mist from relief gas streams. The knockout drum slows down gases and allow liquids to fallout of the gas stream. Both horizontal and vertical design are common configuration for knockout drums. These vessels can commonly be referred to as flare knockout drums, flare drums, flash drums, knockout pots and compressor suction drums. Waterford Tank and Fabrications knockout drums can be installed upstream of natural gas compressors, engines and generators, upstream of natural gas filters, vapor recovery systems and upstream of flare stacks. Advantages of knockout drums are the removal of liquid droplets, reduces flare smoke and prevents the raining of flaming liquids and recovers liquids from gases that go to dew point at ambient pressures and temperatures.
