The furnace walls are constructed mainly with insulated firebrick, 2 inches thick, and is surrounded with a stainless steel shell. The base has 3-inch firebrick mounted on a robust galvanized steel stand. The rated maximum load is 150 lbs. The furnace includes a lock-in lid support, two wide view peep holes, ventilated louvered switch box, and two hand lifts.

This means less danger of burning your product if you have no stirrer in the melting pot. 4. Our accurate digital temperature control ensures that you will not overheat sensitive products. The air temperature in the jacket will never exceed your setting.

Soldering circuit boards in a shallow pot dates back to the 1950, s and is still a reliable method of low volume soldering of PCB?s. First spray or brush soldering flux on the bottom of the board. Next skim the surface of the pot to clear surface dross (oxidation). Finally, using a "board gripper, " dip the board flat into the molten solder. The board will solder in less then 5 seconds.
