Abtech provide a range hazardous area local control stations and custom instrument panels. These are certified to ATEX, IECEx and InMetro standards.

With a choice of Plastic (Polyamide), GRP and Stainless Steel enclosures and a comprehensive range of operators, isolators and ammeters there is a solution almost any application. Dedicated terminals can fitted on GRP and Stainless versions if required.

In addition to standard pre-defined controls, we can design custom panels to your exact requirements.

The Novus is a symmetric floodlight designed for use in harsh and hazardous environments. Manufactured in epoxy painted aluminium alloy and protected to IP6667, the Novus can cope with the most arduous of conditions.
This compact floodlight features integral control gear and a timed ignitor. Suitable for use in Zone 2 and 22 hazardous areas, the NOVUS has the benefit of a quick access cover for lamp replacement, reducing maintenance time.

The Lumex and Lumex Twin stainless steel asymmetric floodlights are designed for use in heavy industrial and marine environments.
The floodlights feature a highly efficient photometric distribution combining maintenance free LEDs with an asymmetric profile. The resulting compact design saves both space and weight. The Lumex Twin luminaire provides effective distribution for walkway illumination.
Constructed from marine grade stainless steel, with a toughened glass diffuser and stainless steel fixings. The Lumex range is suitable for the most arduous industrial environments.

The ModulEx fluorescent is designed for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas and harsh environments. The small gasket area offers superior sealing against traditional body types and ease of lamp replacement.
Suitable for use with 18W, 36W and 58W T8 bi-pin lamps and also available as a self contained emergency luminaire.
The Modulex is manufactured in polycarbonate and protected to IP6667.

The PCS range of control stations have been designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and are suitable for most gas groups including hydrogen.
Manufactured from plastic. This material gives excellent mechanical strength and life expectancy, making these control stations particularly suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions.
