SAFETY GRATING APPLICATIONS

MICO Safety Plank Grating products feature one-piece cold-formed construction to shape channels and sheet flooring. Surfaces formed in the grating provide excellent traction and slip-resistance and allow water, oil and snow to drain through. The orientation of the plank creates two different designs; channeled versus walkway. The walkway design has a built-in kickplate or toeboard. Each type of walking surface incorporates diamond shaped openings or round de-bossed holes and traction buttons to form the slip-resistant surface.

EIFS-DEFS

Exterior Insulation and Finish System or EIFS was developed in Europe after World War II to retrofit solid masonry walls. It has evolved primarily into a commercial exterior wall cladding system that consists of an insulation board attached to the substrate with a base coat and finish coat to simulate the look of stucco, though its not as resistant to abuse as stucco. AMICO lath is frequently used in these retrofit applications because of its superior strength and stiffness over non-metallic lath. AMICO lath and accessory beads meet IBC, RBC and ASTM Standards.
