A rubber gasket is a sealing product used to fill the space between two or more mating surfaces generally to prevent leakage (of air, chemicals, gases, or liquids) from or into the joined objects while under compression. Rubber gaskets are used for forming tight seals between two components. Custom Gasket Mfg. uses a variety of production and material options to solve even the most challenging sealing applications. We manufacture custom rubber gaskets and seals in a wide range of rubber materials (and compounds) including: Neoprene, Silicone, EPDM, Viton(Fluorocarbon), Nitrile (Buna-N), SBR (Red Rubber), Butyl, Natural (Gum) Rubber, Polyurethane, Fluorosilicone, Hypalon, Santoprene, Hydrogenated Nitrile, Epichlorhydrin, Cloth-Inserted Rubber, Conductive Rubber, Thermoplastic Rubber, and FDA Approved Rubber. Custom Gasket Mfg. offers standard commercial grade materials and specification grade materials that meet FDA (Food Grade) and ASTM specifications. For the reason that different elastomers offer different mechanical and chemical properties, we offer custom compounds to meet specific high performance applications.

Custom Gasket Mfg. specializes in the manufacturing of molded silicone gaskets and seals. Our custom molding capabilities include Compression Molding, Transfer Molding, Rubber Injection Molding, and Silicone Liquid Injection Molding (LIM). We commonly mold products using silicone, fluorosilicone, and FDA (food grade) silicone compounds which are available in color options redorange, black, gray, blue, white, and translucent with custom color compounding available upon request. Silicone rubber molding compounds durometer (hardness) typically ranges from 25 to 80 durometer, Shore A. Silicone rubber molding tolerances are compliant with rubber molding industry standard RMA A2 Precision tolerances.

Custom Gasket Mfg. specializes in the manufacturing of molded neoprene gaskets and seals. Our custom neoprene molding capabilities include Compression Molding, Transfer Molding, and Rubber Injection Molding. Neoprene (CR) compounds are available from 40 to 90 durometer, Shore A. Neoprene rubber is generally black in color however custom color compounding is available upon request. Neoprene molding tolerances are compliant with rubber molding industry standard RMA A2 Precision tolerances.

Custom Gasket Mfg. fabricates die cut silicone gaskets and water jet cut silicone gaskets in a wide variety of grades, thicknesses and hardness. The standard thickness of silicone rubber ranges from .010" to 1" thick. Silicone rubbers hardness (durometer) typically spans from 30 to 80 durometer, Shore A. We inventory a full spectrum of colors including redorange, black, gray, blue, white, and translucent. Silicone rubber gaskets are available with or without acrylic or high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.
