Internal Output Snubbers for Ultra-Stable OperationThe MSK 105 is a high power quad operational amplifier. Each amplifier is capable of delivering three amps of
current to the load. The MSK 105 is an excellent low cost alternative for bridge mode configurations since all
amplifiers are packaged together and will track thermally. The wide common mode range includes the negative rail,
facilitating single supply applications. It is possible to have a "ground based" input driving a single supply amplifier
with ground acting as the second or "bottom" supply of the amplifier. To maintain stability, output snubber networks
have been internally connected to each op amp output (see "amplifier stability" in the attached application notes).
The output stage is also current limit protected to approximately 3.0 amps. The MSK 105 is packaged in a space
efficient 18-pin ceramic dip. Consult factory for other packaging options if desired.

Contact MSK for MIL-PRF-38534 Qualification Status The BBF2800S series of DC-DC converters provides the ruggedness, reliability and features required to
meet the advanced design challenges of today's hi-rel market. This has been accomplished using a package
having very low thermal gradients, excellent hermeticity and high voltage isolation. The use of advanced substrate
and reflow soldering techniques during construction results in a rugged, cost-effective pin solderable package.
The BBF2800S hybrid converter series utilizes all ceramic capacitors and surface mount magnetics to provide
reliable operation at all operating temperatures while surviving very high G forces.
BBF2800S series standard features include kelvin sense, indefinite short circuit protection, remote shutdown,
output fault monitoring, turn on voltage point adjustment, switching frequency synchronization of up to 3 units using
no external components and pi-network input filtering. An output voltage adjustmentload compensation pin is also
standard.
Fault tolerance design protects these converters from most external circuit faults. The output and output adjust
pins will withstand +35V while the shutdown and all synchronization pins will withstand +50V protecting the
converters from a variety of system or board faults, i.e. solder bridges, etc. Unique load fault protection circuitry
allows this converter to pull up loads having difficult static load line characteristics and allows short term load
excursions significantly beyond ratings in most applications.
The BBF2800 series is a current mode push-pull topology converter which operates at a switching frequency of
500KHz. Internal filtering of both input and output eliminates the need for external capacitors in many applications.
The 12-pin power dip package allows connection to a heatsink and is hermetically sealed and isolated from the
internal circuits.

5mV and very good stability over temperature. This voltage reference features a wide current range and a low dynamic
impedance that is maintained over the full temperature range. The adjustment terminal allows the reference voltage to be
adjusted to compensate for system errors. The MSK 110RH is a hermetically sealed surface mount ceramic package with
optional straight or gull wing lead form.

External Compensation For Optimum Gain-Bandwidth The MSK 101 is a dual high power monolithic MOSFET operational amplifier ideally suited for high power amplification
and magnetic deflection applications. With a total supply voltage rating of 150 volts and 5A of output current
available from each amplifier, the MSK 101 is also an excellent low cost choice for motor drive circuits. The MOSFET
output frees the MSK 101 from secondary breakdown limitations and power dissipation is kept to a minimum with a
typical quiescent current rating of only 8.0 mA total in class "C" mode. Power saving class "C" mode is enabled
by the user externally. The MSK 101 is packaged in a hermetically sealed 18 pin ceramic dip which has two external
compensation pins for each amplifier.

levels and drive a pulsed load of up to 3A at 28V. AND inputs are provided along with an Expander connection, should
additional gating be required. The addition of an external capacitor and resistor provides control of the rise and fall
times of the output. The device is packaged in a hermetic 10 pin can.
