This indexable tool, features OD turning and coolant thru fabrication for high performance, reduced heat, and improved chip removal. Even when inactive, oil is still being applied to the chips on the tool. NTM, Inc is a recognized one-stop tool shop, providing the most accurate magnetic V-blocks on the market, used in the checking of small parts with particular utilization by customers in the medical industry. Our V-block surfaces are ground parallel and perpendicular, to a .0002" tolerance and made from case hardened material in block form. V-blocks are offered in matched sets, and are carried as a stock item. Our V-blocks have a holding diameter capacity from .030" to .625" (part number 41101-90), and .062" to 1.250" (part number 41102-90). Accuracy and integrity are ensured with CMM and granite plate inspection methods, as well as surface finish and hardness testing.Customers in the defense, aerospace, medical, and automotive industries have trusted NTM with the custom design, manufacturing, and maintenance of their precision tooling. Custom components are created from a variety of materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, alloy steels, titanium, inconel, monel, kovar, hastelloy, and plastics in sizes up to 12" in diameter, 60" in length, 29" in width and 25" in height. State-of-the-art equipment includes vertical mills, turning centers, engine lathes, indexers, and manual mills, carrying out precision processes including milling, drilling, boring, tapping, knurling, pocketing, profiling, reaming, facing, external and internal threading, along with turning methods including contour, form, taper, and straight turning. These precision processes can achieve tolerances to .0001".Our machinery features CNC control capabilities; 13, 000 rpm spindle speeds, a 3300 lb weight capacity, 4 axes, and three jaw and four jaw chuck fixturing.
