PH Aqua Sensor

The AmmoniapH sensor enables visual monitoring of toxic ammonia (NH3) and pH levels in aquaria water on a continuous basis. Simply attach it in a visible location with both sensor pads completely immersed. With initial use, wait 15 minutes for the NH3 sensor to hydrate and up to 24 hours for the pH sensor to hydrate before making first reading. Thereafter they respond quickly (1-5 minutes) to changes in NH3 and pH.

Ammonia Aqua Sensor

  • Continuous monitoring 24/7
  • Long lasting up to 1 year.
Pacific Sentry's ammonia aqua sensor enables visual monitoring of toxic ammonia (NH3) in aquaria water on a continuous basis. Simply attach it in a visible location where it can be left and easily viewed, with the sensor pad completely immersed. With initial use, wait about 15 minutes for the sensor to hydrate before making first reading. Thereafter they respond quickly (1-5 minutes) to NH3. To get a measurement, simply match the sensor's color to the color-gradient indicator chart to readout the NH3 concentration.

Ammonia Leak Detection Pipe Thread Tape

This specially designed PTFE tape conveniently and economically detects ammonia (NH3) leaks. The tape has visual indicators that change color identifying leaks or defects in pipe systems, joints and couplings that contain ammonia. The tape, similar to the use of standard plumbers tape, is simply wrapped around the pipe or fitting and is inspectedmonitored over time.

Ammonia Test Strip

  • Height 3"
  • Width 5/8"
  • Thickness 1/32"
Designed to detect ammonia levels ranging from 0.1 ppm to 0.25+ ppm in refrigerant solutions, these strips enable identification of NH3 contamination within secondary fluid loops. Using strips consistently in routine monitoring programs will provide additional protection needed to ensure a safe, efficient, ammonia-based cooling system. Conducting this simple dip-stick test of secondary fluid samples shows visually if there is ammonia leakage from the primary-coolant side of the system.

The test strip is constructed with a state-of-the-art, colored sensor, which changes from orange to green, blue, then purple with increasing levels of ammonia. These ammonia test strips are a cost-effective, simple, and efficient means to check and maintain cooling systems. Regularly testing with the strips ensures ammonia-based refrigeration systems are functioning properly giving your company an added layer of insurance against costly losses and downtime. Early detection of an ammonia leak is critical. Once a leak develops the entire cooling system is compromised and in jeopardy of further piping system erosion and degradation (ammonia is corrosive to non-ferrous metals).

Costly ramifications and risks of catastrophic breakdown can be prevented by early detection. There are also environmental concerns regulatory consequences for ammonia discharge into the environment. Make the inexpensive investment of regularly testing your cooling system with Pacific Sentrys industrial strength Ammonia Test Strips to reduce refrigeration system operating costs and risks.
