SIGN GRADE ACRYLIC SHEETProviding superior impact resistance, along with all of the other advantages of acrylic sheets, sign grade acrylic is a uniquely durable product and the workhorse of the sign industry. Generally, sign grade acrylic is 10 times stronger than general-purpose acrylic and 30 times stronger than double-strength window glass. A variety of impact blends are available, depending on your application. Sign grade acrylic (often referred to as impact-modified acrylic) is the preferred product for many types of signage, including channel letters, flat and pan-faced signs, and vacuum-formed applications. An economical alternative to polycarbonate, sign grade acrylic is easily fabricated and boasts properties that make it ideal for thermoforming. Unlike polycarbonate, sign grade acrylic does not require drying prior to thermoforming or fabrication. The sheets are available in a range of thicknesses, widths, colors and patterns, as well as in roll stock. Roll stock offers the opportunity to have material in any length you desire up to 400 feet, which is perfect for large signs.
