Wave solderHot air leveling tape. 1 and 2 mil Electrical Grade Polyimide Kapton films and Kapton alternatives coated with a high performance silicone adhesive. Thin and conformable, with outstanding tear and abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures. Adhesive will thermoset to increase adhesion values. Leaves minimal residue when removed after manufacturing process; reduces clean-up time and minimizes rejects. Permits observation of board during processing. Excellent resistance to acids, oils, solvents, aging, staining, water immersion. Protects gold contacts from molten solder during hot air wave solder leveling process. Adhesion: 25 ozin. Tensile: 30 Ibsin. Elongation: 55%. Temp, resistance: 500F. Dielectric strength: 6500V. Color: Amber (transparent). UL510 approved for flame retardance. Can meet Mil spec: MIL-P-46112B when required. 3 inch plastic core.

Reflexite conspicuity material is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced, tough and weather-resistant UV-stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposition of aluminum to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting tape is not more than 0.008 inch thick and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene Tape. 3 mil, 5 mil, 10 mil, 15 mil and 20 mil with an aggressive Acrylic adhesive. Its high chemical and abrasion resistance and extremely low coefficient of friction makes this a versatile engineering material for many severe service applications. Materials slide freely over tape surface with no slipstick tendency. High impact strength and shock absorbing properties. Outwears TeflonTM and is a good replacement when high temperature resistance is not a requirement. Rub strips on conveyors, bearings and sliding surfaces, chutes and hopper liners, dead plates, wear pads, guide rails, furniture and drawer slides. Used primarily in automotive and mechanical applications. Elongation: 300%. Max operating temp: 300F. UHMW-3A, 5A, 10A, & 15A meets automotive specs: Chrysler MS-CH612, Ford ESB-M3G123-B, GM 6419M. UHMW-3A, 5A, 10A, & 15A are wound on a 4 mil white paper liner; UHMW-20A is wound on a blue poly liner. 3 plastic core. FILM COLOR: Natural transparent.

4.5 mil Low density polyethylene film tape coated on one side with a synthetic rubber adhesive. Backing has been stabilized with additives to resist the effects of UV exposure. Leaves no residue on removal and maintains a water tight seal in all weather conditions. Its adhesive system remains permanently tacky and bonds well to most surfaces over a wide range of temperatures. 3 paper core.
