Lumineux (luminous) is the first word that Francis Kurkdjian reaches for to describe his Aqua Universalis. Suitable for women and men, it is to be used by everyone, everywhere, and at all times, says the Paris-based perfumer, who has developed fragrances for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Narciso Rodriguez, and Dior. Inspired by cleanliness, this all-purpose body oil is utterly fresh, progressing from zesty notes of bergamot and Sicilian lemon to a white bouquet of lily of the valley and sweet orange to a light, musky, and slightly woody finish.

"I wanted to create a dry oil that practically disappears into the skin, leaving oily skin smoothbut never greasyand yet effectively treated for blemishes and blackheads, says Sunday Riley of her Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil. With 1.5% salicylic acid, this fast-acting, quick-drying, medicated formula clears acne and blackhead-causing buildup and debris from congested pores for smoother, blemish-free skin. Tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil support clear skin, while hexylresorcinol and licorice naturally brighten the appearance of old acne discolorations for a more even-toned complexion. Counterbalancing the potentially drying effects of salicylic acid, milk thistle and cucumber seed oil nourish the skin and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, without leaving a greasy residue. Inspired by Marie Antoinettes favorite blooms, this fresh, soft, and feminine perfume is composed of two varieties of rosethe Damask rose from Bulgaria and the Provence rose, or Rose de Mai, from Grasserefreshed by a citrusy blend of bergamot, orange, and lemon. The bouquet of roses, velvety violets, and magnolia blossom gains character from woody notes of cedar and musk.
