Heating Elements #5141638

INDUSTRIAL COIL HEATING ELEMENTS

Tremendous thermal efficiency and design flexibility make this electric element extremely popular. Coil heating elements involve using heavy alloy frames to hold ceramic spools of various shapes and sizes to accommodate limited and restricted areas. We fabricate elements to your specifications or work directly with you to engineer a design to fit your furnace.ENGINEERING SPECS Heat ranges from 200F to 2300F (93.33C to 1260C) in any multiple neededRound wire close-wound on an arbor or mandrel and then stretched to form a helix of at least twice the close-wound lengthCoils designed to fit within physical space limitations of deviceNIKChrome Resistance Alloy (Stocked)

Industrial Rod Heating Elements

Rod elements are widely used in industry for convection heating, conduction heating and radiation heating. They can vary considerably in shape and size and are used extensively in Lindberg and Old Sauder type furnace apparatus. Heating rods are versatile because they can be bent into any shape and operate at high temperatures. National Element Inc. uses NIKChrome alloys and Iron-Chrome-Aluminum Alloys and pure molybdenum in manufacturing electrical rod elements. Rod heating element sets are typically mounted on sidewalls, floor, door and back wall. Most elements are kinked to raise it off of any insulation. Floor elements are often suspended on piers to allow for debris to collect underneath the elements. NEI carries a full compliment of terminals for rod elements and machine to accommodate electrical terminal clamps.ENGINEERING SPECS Rod sizes begin at 6 GA. (.162 dia.) and usually do not exceed 12 diameter.NIKChrome alloys for use up to 1250C2280FKanthal alloys for use up to 1440C2550FMolybdenum for use up to 1900C3452F or 100 watts per square inch of surface area

Industrial Ribbon Heating Elements

Achieve the most heat per square inch with ribbon elements. Typical ribbon elements consist of two rows and suspend in the refractory tile in the ceiling, walls and floors of small industrial high temperature furnaces. We stock many configurations for quick delivery. National Element Incs. patented FireLine* electric heating offers high quality, high power density, excellent hot strength and low watt density. FireLine can compete with much more expensive heavy cross-section elements because the unique crimped channel shape. Choose Fireline when good hot strength, lightweight efficiency and easy installation are a priority.ENGINEERING SPECS High Temperature 115C - 2100FStocked sizes available in 35Ni-19CrStocked sizes available in 80Ni-20CrControlled thermal expansionEngineered to fit your furnace refractory (any size, shape and kilowatt rating)
