Firebar Radiant Tubes

  • dimensions 2-3/4”, 3-1/4”, 3-5/8”, 4-1/4”, 4-7/8”, 5-1/4”, 6”, 6-3/8”, 6-1/8”, 7-3/4”
The electrical path of the Firebar radiates outward from the central core providing effective heat for the full length of the radiant tube. The Firebar design concept allows replacement of individual conductors without replacing the complete unit. 80Ni-20Cr heavy round rod conductors make Firebar compatible for many different applications that need specialty alloys. Each circuit contains a thermocouple for control start up. Stock shipments include operating instructions, terminals, insulation, all internal connections, and, if necessary, a base plate for vertical operation.Process temperatures to 1850FCapable of liberating 85 BTUs of energy per square inch of pipe surfaceConductors made of 80Ni-20Cr heavy round rodHorizontal or Vertical InstallationsLengths from 18 to 10Six sizes of heavy round rod in two rows (for most kilowatt requirements)Standard diameters: 2-34, 3-14, 3-58, 4-14, 4-78, 5-14, 6, 6-38, 6-18, 7-34Typical Atmosphere Applications: Air, Inert, Strongly Reducing

Industrial Conveyor Belts

  • Steel Links Standard plain steel links precision welded in widths of : 24″ ( 1/8” thick flat top and piano hinge plate belts) 6″ (3/16” belt) 12” (¼ belt)
  • Bushings Steel bushings = 15-18% coefficient of friction Nylatron bearings = 10-13% coefficient of friction Roller bearings= 4-5% coefficient of friction
Steel construction belts from National Element are especially adaptable to conveying heavy, rough or sharp material. An assembled belt consists of hinged links, side wings, tubes, thru pins and dual strands of roller chain. The hinged links are assembled in horizontal rows by passing the tube through the hinges. The thru pins are inserted into the tube and fastened into the side chains thus supporting the links and causing the chain to take all the tension.BushingsSteel bushings = 15-18% coefficient of frictionNylatron bearings = 10-13% coefficient of frictionRoller bearings= 4-5% coefficient of friction Steel LinksStandard plain steel links precision welded in widths of :24 ( 18 thick flat top and piano hinge plate belts)6 (316 belt)12 ( belt) HingesHinges formed in 1-12 3 increments on the link to allow special belt widths of the same 1-12 increment. Side wingsSide wings interlocked and afford continuous overlapping through bends and over the sprockets. Mig welding to the belt prevents thin pieces of material from getting under the wing.Standard sizes:18 thick x 1-12 for 2-12 pitch18 thick x 2-12 for 4 pitch316 thick x 3 or 4 for 6 pitch316 thick x 4 or 6 for 9 pitch TubesThe tubes are .760 I.D. x .970 O.D. steel running through the hinges for the complete belt width and rotates on the thru pin for a better bearing area. Maintenance is easy because it is not necessary to disconnect the belt at a hinge point to remove a pin. It is the tube that holds the belt together. Industrial Conveyor Chain

Seamless bushings provide better strength and roundness than conventional formed bushings and there is no gap to fill up with dirt or sludge. NEI heat treats each chain pin, roller and bushing for extra wear resistance. Attention to detail at every level including: press fit bushings to lock against rotation for long service life, sidebar hole flats to accommodate standard pins and oversize rollers to provide a rolling rather than sliding action to reduce drag load. Each component undergoes strict inspection during the manufacturing process.ENGINEERING SPECS Seamless steel bushingsFlat milled pins and bushingsStandard bushed roller chain: WSR 3010, WSR 4012, WSR 4019, WSR 6018Heat treated for extra resistance to wearCase hardness twice the depth of industry practice

Laboratory Hot Plates

  • Type MA-120
  • MEDIUM 0.8
  • HIGH 1.2
  • SIZE 12" X 12"
A laboratory hot plate, sometimes called a heating plate is known for its long life and uniform heating distribution. They are used in research, classroom or clinics to heat liquids or solids to ensure that substances are kept at a specific temperatures. Hot plates heat from the bottom and provide a view of the contents being heated. National Element hot plates are available with 120VAC and 240VAC power and adjustable temperature range.
