Grate Magnets are placed directly in the product stream allowing free flowing products to come in direct contact with the grate. Grate Magnets are typically constructed with one inch diameter magnetic tubes mounted on two inch centers in a frame. The length and width can be fabricated to any dimension, usually in two inch increments. Grate Magnets offer excellent protection from metal contamination. As product flows over the magnetic tubes, captured metal contaminants are pushed to the underside of the tube where they are now out of contact with the product flow preventing washoff back in to the clean material.

Blank Fanners are designed to magnetically separate oily and sticky hard to separate steel sheets. This eliminates having to pry apart each sheet individually which can result in damage to the part or operator injury. This also aids in automated systems and prevents costly damage due to double blanks. Blank Fanners should be atleast 2" taller than the blank stack height.

Head Pulley Magnets provide continuous self cleaning on products conveyed by belt. As product is conveyed along the belt it reaches the head pulley and enters the magnetic field where metal contaminants are attracted and held tightly to the belt surface. As the belt is conveyed around the magnetic pulley, metal contaminants are held in place until they pass through the magnetic field where they are safely discarded separate from the clean product.

Hump Magnets generally consist of two Plate Magnets mounted in an offset housing and are installed in vertical spouts. As product enters the housing it impacts directly on the face of the first Plate Magnet, travels through the offset angle of the housing and impacts directly on the face of the second Plate Magnet. This provides excellent separation results for high volume, poor flowing, or abrasive materials.

Engineered to remove fine to large ferrous contaminants from high volume, gravity fed product streams. Puritans Vertical Spout Magnets are ideally suited for products that would bridge or choke in a magnetic tube type separator. Ferrous contaminants are easily removed from products that are moist, lumpy, granular, or in powder form. Vertical Spout Magnets consist of a housing and two opposing Plate Magnets. A center diverter on the housing inlet helps direct product towards the magnets. Ferrous contaminants are pulled from the flowing product and are captured by the powerful magnets. A Single Trap face design eliminates the possibility of the captured tramp metal being washed off back into the product stream.

Rotating Drum Magnets provide good separation in applications where there is a high concentration of metal contamination or terminating the product flow for cleaning of the magnet is not feasible.
