Fire Research Corporation manufactures several pressure governors, generator governors, and remote throttles with multiple combinations of displays for use where remote engine control and monitoring is needed.

It can be used to integrate a traditional style remote hand throttle with the display as well as the monitoring functions of the engine. You can program the engine governor via remote throttle. It is programmed to operate in control modes that vary based on engine type, wiring and requirements. The three control modes are throttle control mode where a traditional remote engine hand throttles and allows manual control of the RPM; Governor Control Mode where the engine governor maintains a stable RPM. It further reduces the need to make adjustments. If adjustments are required you’ll have to turn the control knob. You can bring the engine down to idle post operation with a touch of red idle button. There are 4 LED bar graphs that provide stable display of safe operating ranges for battery voltage, engine oil pressure, transmission temperature and engine coolant temperature. They will not display the exact units or numbers. You can view the detailed information on the message display after pressing the MENU button. Engine hours can also be seen. The indicators as well as the controls are located on the front of the control module. You’ll find a J1939 CAN Bus for Engine Information, KPa / Bar, Audible Alarm Buzzer and Interlock Signal Recognition with Throttle Ready LED. You can control the engine RPM manually or automatically. The Infinity-PRO Engine Throttles has been designed using high end technology. This next gen throttle eliminates the electro-mechanical switches as well as the potentiometer that are used in the conventional throttles. The throttle has an Infrared Encoder (IRE) that detects the speed and direction by way of control knob. There is an electrical signal that is interpreted by a microprocessor and the engine control signal. You can dynamically adjust it to facilitate the most minor corrections. It comes with a red IDLE button and uses optical technology. The engine returns to idle with a press of the button. It has a J1939 CAN inputs which is usually needed to provide the engine information to the governor. Thus, a necessary J1939 Translator Module must be installed. It operates in two distinct modes such as pressure or RPM. You can maintain a steady pressure intake and pump discharge by way of controlling the engine speed or holding a selected engine RPM. PRO-S Pressure Governor Panel. PRO has come as a revolution and has replaced the older PRO series governors. It comes with all new control electronics that make it rather more reliable and dependable. It has a variety of new programming features such as automatic compensation for both high and low pressures. There is also a high pressure surge limiting in the RPM mode. The larger color coded buttons allow easy operation. The governor acts as a 'cruise control' for the pump. It has been designed especially for the firefighters. The TACHP3 Engine Monitoring Display is an all-in-one instrument panel with integrated monitoring and display capabilities that saves valuable pump panel space.
The TACHP3 combines four different instruments in one waterproof unit. It provides both audible and visual warning alarms if specified parameters go outside of set limits.
The TACHP3 receives input engine information from the J1939 or ISO11898 CAN bus.
The TACHP3 has a 4-digit LED display for engine RPM and 3-digit LED displays for engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, and battery voltage. During normal operation warning messages are displayed as they occur.

Total Control Pressure Govenor Panel 202. The total control panel is a complete display kit of master pressure, pressure governor and engine monitoring. The kit includes the discharge pressure sensor, intake pressure sensor, control module and the cables. It is absolutely waterproof and comes in dimensions of 6" high by 7 1/2" wide by 2" deep. You can measure the inputs via J1587 databus and the outputs via engine specific wiring. You will get a pump discharge, Pump intake that are displayed with a four daylight bright LED, that is over 1/2". The Pressure / RPM setting is shown on a dot matrix message display. The device has a throttle ready LED. You can keep a check on the engine and notice engine warnings on LED panel. The oil pressure, Engine coolant temperature, Battery voltage and Transmission temperature can be viewed on the duel color (green/red) LED bar graph display. In case of any warning sign, it will appear on the dot matrix display that will display stored data, program options, monitored apparatus information, etc. The entire LED intensity can be adjusted automatically for day and night operations. PRO-T Pressure Governor Panel. Our all-in-one instrument panel has been designed using uses state of the art technology. It offers a steady pump discharge by controlling pump discharge pressure. You can see the remote engine displays, pump discharge or the pump intake displays as well as the pump pressure or RPM control. The panel offers a complete engine control and remote display in a compact unit. Our device operates in two modes i.e. pressure or the RPM. The discharge pressure is monitored and further compared to the selected pressure setting. The pump discharge pressure of the panel is monitored continuously and can vary. INCONTROL Panel J1939 Push Button
The Fire Research INControl pressure governor and all-in-one instrument panel uses state of the art programmable microprocessor technology. Measuring only 10.5 by 5.5 inches the INControl offers pump discharge and pump intake displays, pump pressure or RPM control, and remote engine displays. It will maintain a steady pump discharge pressure by controlling engine speed or hold a selected engine RPM. It offers complete engine control and remote display in a single compact unit.
The INControl operates in one of two modes, pressure or RPM. In pressure mode the INControl maintains a constant pump discharge pressure. The discharge pressure is monitored and compared to the selected pressure setting, the engine RPM is varied to keep the discharge pressure at the selected setting. In RPM mode the INControl maintains a constant engine RPM. The pump discharge pressure is monitored and can vary but, as a safety feature it will be limited to an increase of 30 PSI. If the discharge pressure increases 30 PSI the governor will automatically lower the engine RPM to prevent a high pressure surge.
The TGA300 Series uses push buttons to adjust pressure and RPM settings.
