Ultra High Purity Pressure Sensor

  • Model 227

Setra's Model 227 transducer is designed for high density, modular block gas sticks and panels required for today’s 300 mm tools. The Model 227s 1-18’’ footprint optimizes valuable space, and its rugged design makes it ideal for pressure measurements that require long-term stability, high accuracy and exceptional insensitivity to environmental extremes. Unlike many other designs with large deadended cavity volume, the 227 has a small swept sensor chamber for easy purgeability. All wetted parts are 316L VIMVAR stainless steel passivated to 5 Ra (7 Ra. max.) fi nish, which eliminates surface irregularities and provides the proper surface chemistry for corrosion resistance, assuring contaminant-free gas distribution.

Wall Mount Relative Humidity Sensor

  • Model SRH

Setra’s SRH low profile wall mount humidity sensor offers both humidity and temperature with multiple options for accuracy, temperature and outputs. It features a removable sensor tip, NIST traceability and a durable capacitive sensor that is capable of a 0 to 99% full scale RH measurement and recovery from 100% saturation. The SRH offers accuracies of 2%, 3% and 5% to meet the most stringent HVAC applications. The SRH can be ordered with either a passive (RTD Thermistor) or Active (Analog) temperature output, enabling 2 measurements from the same device. Replaceable Sensor Tip for Easy Calibration The SRH offers the industry’s easiest replaceable sensor tip. Removing it requires no special training and can be easily replaced by the end user. No calibration is needed because each sensor module is factory calibrated before shipping, reducing downtime during service intervals.

High Performance Pressure Sensor

  • Model 540/542

Setra's Model 540542 pressure transducer is designed for harsh applications that require long-term service and high performance. Utilizing thin film technology, the 540542 offer choice of 0.1% FS or 0.08% FS accuracy, millivolt output, a wide compensated temperature range from -65°F up to +250°F, and gauge, sealed gauge, and absolute pressure measurement for pressure ranges 15 psi up to 10, 000 psi (1 bar up to 690 bar). Differential pressure measurement is available in ranges from 15 PSID up to 300 PSID. All wetted parts are constructed of 17-4 PH SS or Inconel® for ranges 15 psi up to 6000 psi (1 bar up to 400 bar). (Pressure transducers ordered in 600 or 690 bar and 10, 000 psi ranges are only available with Inconel wetted parts.) Specify Model 540 when ordering a pressure transducer with stainless steel wetted parts, and Model 542 with Inconel®. Models 540542 are offered with choice of 10-6-Pin Bayonet Connector, Weatherproof Cable, and Molded Submersible Cable (submersible up to 656ft.) for electrical termination. Depending upon the electrical connection selected, when coupled with the Model 540542 enclosure, which is fabricated in 321 SS, this unit is rated for IP40, IP65, IP66 or IP68 operation. Requiring vitually no maintenance, the stability of this unit assures the user of high reliability, with less than 0.06% drift per year. Principles of Operation: Thin Film Strain Gauge Pressure Sensors. Using the well proven Wheatstone Bridge principle, molecular layers are sputtered onto a 17-4 PH stainless steel sensing element, providing excellent resistor definition and uniformity. Sputtered thin film technology allows the design of simple, highly accurate and compact strain gauges. This method virtually eliminates drift, while offering enhanced sensitivity.
